LIU Shuhui
Liu Shuhui, female, a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), of Han ethnicity, was born in Xinzhou, Shanxi Province in December 1973. She holds a Master of Management degree, attained through on-the-job postgraduate study, and is an Associate Professor. Currently, she serves as Secretary of the CPC Committee of Donghua University. She was a delegate to the 10th Shanghai Municipal Congress of the CPC.
Since December 2007, she has served successively at Donghua University as Member of the University CPC Committee, Director of the Student Affairs Office, Director of the Organization Department of the CPC Committee, Executive Vice President of the University Party School, Deputy Secretary of the University CPC Committee and Vice President.
Her research focuses on ideological and political education for university students and the development of primary-level CPC organizations in institutions of higher education. She has published multiple academic papers in such journals as China Higher Education, Ideological & Theoretical Education and Shanghai Education. She has led and completed research projects, including Research on Integrating the System of Core Socialist Values into the Full Process of University Students' Ideological and Political Education, sponsored by the Department of Ideological and Political Affairs of the Ministry of Education, as well as Research on Harmonized Management of University Student Affairs and Research on Effective Approaches for Cultivating Reserve Cadres in Institutions of Higher Education, funded by the Shanghai Education Development Foundation. She is the chief editor of the textbook A Tutorial on University Students' Employment and Entrepreneurship, and contributed to the compilation of Confronting Employment and Embarking on University Life. She was awarded the Sangma Teaching Scholarship in 2000 and was honored with the title of Shanghai New Long March Pacesetter in 2003.
