Recently, under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the fifth Microteaching Competition on Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance, organized by the Shanghai Student Affairs Center (Shanghai Employment Guidance Center for Graduates), concluded successfully. Li Ping, a counselor from the College of Foreign Languages of DHU, won the first prize, marking the third time DHU has received this honor. The competition is to fully implement the guidelines of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, aligning with the spirit and objectives of the National College Students Career Planning Competition. It also aims to strengthen career education as well as employment and entrepreneurship guidance for college students.

This year’s competition drew 39 talented teachers from 23 universities across Shanghai. Li Ping impressed the judges with her course “Mastering the Four Key Steps: Staying Active in Job Hunting”. The course effectively conveyed essential concepts in employment and entrepreneurship guidance, tailored to current job market trends and student needs. It highlighted her distinctive teaching approach and grasp of core topics. The self-reflective and exemplary features of the microteaching make the course a model for broader application.
