This year marks the ninth consecutive year of College of Fashion and Design's collaboration with THE NEXT, a university-based fashion show platform, in the "Emerging Designers" training program. The event took place at the Shanghai Fashion Week (800 Show in Jing'an) and featured 10 new designers from three different departments: Fashion Art Design, Fashion Design and Engineering, and Sino-Japanese Cooperation Project. Each designer expressed their unique and innovative ideas about individualized fashion. The event showcased 60 sets of original and innovative concept clothing, with designers incorporating cutting-edge fashion trends, new technologies, and new techniques. They also demonstrated their social responsibility and forward-looking vision in areas such as sustainable fashion, green environmental protection, non-heritage innovation, and digital artificial intelligence. The gold medalist of the event will represent the University at the Graduate Fashion Week in London. And this event has witnessed the brilliant debut and exciting journey of these emerging designers.
