Recently, Clarivate released the list of “Highly Cited Researchers” for the year 2023. Three scholars from Donghua University, Yu Jianyong, Yang Jianping and Tang Zheng, were found among the finalists.
The Clarivate list of “Highly Cited Researchers” is an annual recognition of globally influential natural and social scientists who have made significant contributions to their respective disciplines. And this year, a total of 6,849 researchers were honored on this list.
This year’s list was based on the number of highly cited papers published during the 11-year period from January 2012 to December 2022. And the selection process was carried out through rigorous evaluation and compilation of data on highly cited papers in SCIE and SSCI journals by bibliometric experts from theClarivate Institute for Scientific Information, covering 188,500 highly cited papers across all disciplines.
