This forum, themed around “Innovative Nanomedicine”, gathered experts and scholars for two days of in-depth discussions on the forefront of innovative nanomedicine research and the development of new nanodiagnostic and therapeutic systems. The event provided a platform for sharing the latest academic research findings and fostering academic exchange. It is noteworthy that, against the backdrop of the rapid development of the global biopharmaceutical industry, this activity served as an arena for domestic and international researchers in related fields to enhance international scientific cooperation, broaden the academic horizons of graduate students, promote substantive research collaboration among Chinese, Belarusian, and Russian experts and scholars, and create a vibrant academic atmosphere.

The College of Biological Science and Medical Engineering places a high emphasis on international cooperation and has established close research collaborations with countries such as the United States, France, Russia, and Singapore. It has launched several international joint research projects, including the Sino-French Health Diagnosis and Treatment Joint Laboratory and the Sino-Swiss Joint Laboratory. In 2023, the college collaborated with RWTH Aachen University in Germany and was granted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for foreign senior scholar research funding, marking the first approval of such a project for Donghua University.
