Recently, Stanford University and Elsevier released the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2023, which is divided into the “Lifetime Scientific Influence Ranking” (counting the comprehensive influence performance of scientists during their careers) and the “2022 Annual Influence Ranking” (focusing on highlighting the academic influence of scientists in the previous year). It selects the top 2% of the world’s scientists from nearly 10 million scientists in the world, and is divided into 22 fields and 176 subfields, reflecting both quantity and quality. 72 DHU scholars have been selected for the “2022 Annual Influence Ranking” list.
