How have electrospun nonwovens iterated in terms of technology and its application? From April 7th to 8th, the "1st China Electrospun Nonwovens Summit" was held at Donghua University (DHU) with the theme of "Strong Foundation, Innovation, and Integration". The summit is guided by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, hosted by the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association, and organized by Donghua University. More than 500 people attended the summit, which focused on the relevant achievements of basic research and industrialization of electrospun nonwovens, and provided a platform for experts and scholars to share cutting-edge innovations.
At the summit, 8 experts gave plenary keynote speeches on the topics of electrospinning industrialization technology, nanofiber membranes, polymer fiber devices, nanofiber battery materials, melt electrospinning technology, electronic skin, flexible smart wear, and nanofiber energy catalysis. In addition, the summit also had five parallel sessions around these following themes: new materials, technologies, and devices for electrospinning, electrospun nonwovens and energy, environment, biomedicine, and industry exchanges in which 33 universities and research institutes and 5 R&D companies from across the country made 65 presentations to share new theories, new methods, and new developments of electrospinning, promoting all-round and in-depth communication on electrospun nonwovens from basic research to industrial applications.
