Prof. Wang Lei from the Department of Management published an academic article entitled The bright side of trust-less relationshipsA dyadic investigation of the role of trustcongruence on supplier knowledgeacquisition across borders as the first author in the Journal of Operations Managementrecently.


Prof. Wang Leistudies the impact of different matching effects of trust relationships on knowledge acquisition in a cross-border context, extending the study of supply chain governance research focused on single-party trust. Besides, he identifies two boundary conditions for the consistency effects of buyer and supplier trust in cross-border transactions, i.e., institutional distance and knowledge exclusivity, thus providing a new analytical framework and research perspective for studying trust relationships in a cross-border context.
