The “2021 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” list was recently released by Elsevier, a global information  analytic company. The list uses Scopus, a global authoritative citation  and indexing database, as the statistic source for Chinese  scholars’ research results, covering 84 primary disciplines in 10  disciplines of the Ministry of Education of China. 17 DHU scholars are  on the list, ranked 58th in China. 

A  total of 4701 scholars in various fileds of studies from 523  universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions are on  the list of this ranking, and there are 319 universities whose scholars  are finally selected. The number of selected  DHU scholars has increased in the past three years. In 2019, 11  scholars were selected as Highly Cited Chinese Scholars, and 14 scholars  were selected in 2020.
