Chu Lingling, distinguished researcher of Advanced Low-Dimensional Materials Center in Donghua University, and her researchgroup publisheda review, entitled “Catalytic three-component dicarbofunctionalization reactions involving radical capture by nickel” onChemical Society Reviews recently, the top international review journal (impact factor 54.6). Zhu Shengqing, a young researcher from the Center for Advanced Low-Dimensional Materials, was the first author. Zhao Xian and Li Huan, PhD students from the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering, contributed much to it. Donghua University was the only corresponding institution, and Chu Lingling was the only corresponding author of this paper.
In this paper, Chu lingling's group reviewed the recent progress in this field systematically based on the domino strategy for trapping free radicals in nickel, and further discussed the reaction design and mechanism interpretation. In addition, the problems, challenges and future development opportunities in this field were prospected.
