Progress Made in New-type Detection of Highly Sensitive Terahertz By DHU Teams Together With Other Teams

Date:2021-10-27

Recently, Xing Huaizhongs team from Donghua University in collaboration with Wang Lins team from Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, studied on a terahertz detector based on a novel Nodal-line topological semi-metal ZrGeSe, which provides a new idea for room temperature detection in a series of cutting-edge applications.

The results were published on Advanced Science, under the title of “Ultrasensitive and Self-Powered Terahertz Detection Driven by Nodal-line Dirac Fermions and Van Der Waals Architecture ".Zhang Libo, PhD student of Donghua University, is the first author of this paper. Wang linqi, researcher of Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Xing Huaizhong, professor of Donghua University, and Zhang Kai, researcher of Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology and Nano-Bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, were the co-corresponding authors of this paper.
