A new starting point: Advanced Fiber Materials is included in ESCI and officially enters SCI reserve team

In May 2021, Advanced Fiber Materialswas officially included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) in Web of Science, marking another milestone in the development of the journal.

Since Adv. Fiber Mater. commenced in September 2019, it has published 12 consecutive issues with a total of 73 online papers, covering fiber-related polymer materials, information technology, environment, energy, chemistry, biology and other fields and disciplines. The authors are widely distributed and high-level, including Professor Hu Liangbing from the University of Maryland, Professor Seeram Ramakrishna from the National University of Singapore, Professor Esfandiar from Deakin University in Australia, Professor Zhu Meifang from Donghua University, and Professor Peng Huisheng from Fudan University.

Up to now, It has been included or indexed by databases such as Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), CNKI, Dimensions, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and Google Scholar. Researchers are sincerely invited to submit high-quality research papers and review articles to the journal. All articles will be published online immediately and can be cited after acceptance. There is no charge for submitting or publishing papers.

It is a peer-reviewed, international and interdisciplinary research journal which aims to publish papers with high quality in fibers and fiber-related devices as well as their applications. The content of the journal reflects the fast research and development in the field of fiber materials. Advanced Fiber Materials is launched in 2019 by State Key Laboratory for Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials, Donghua University (China) and published by Springer Nature. Accepted article types include Research Article, Review, Letter, News, Perspective and Highlight.
