Progress in light capture made by Prof. Yi Tao and Prof. Zhang Dengqing

Date:2021-01-21

Highly efficient light-harvesting systems with the sequential energy transfer process are significant for utilizing solar energy in photosynthesis. Prof. Yi Tao and Prof. Zhang Dengqing’s research team from the College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology made progress in the field of light capture. The related result was published on J. Am. Chem. Soc., under the title of “Artificial Light-Harvesting Metallacycle System with Sequential Energy Transfer for Photochemical Catalysis”.The master student Yu Wei is the first author, associate professor Zhang Dengqing and professor Yi Tao are co corresponding authors.
