Professor Shi Xiangyang’s research team from College of Chemistry,Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology made important advances in the field of long-term chemotherapy and anti-metastasis therapy for cancer. The relevant result was published on Nano Today under the title of “Multifunctional PLGA microfibrous rings enable MR imaging-guided tumor chemotherapy and metastasis inhibition through prevention of circulating tumor cell shedding”.The PhD students Xiao Yunchao and Fan Yu from College of Chemistry,Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology are first authors.
(a) Preparation process of Electrospun fiber ring PLAG
(b) An SEM image of a fiber segment obtained by homogenizing PLGA fiber membrane in NaCL solution of various concentrations(0M、1M、2M、3M、4M)
