Recently, the Cloud Ceremony of the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2021 hosted by the Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association came to an end. The Glorious Sun School of Business and Management, DHU, won 2021 AMBA & BGA Best Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative Silver Award for its MBA programme.

The AMBA & BGA Best Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative Award honors Business Schools that have demonstrated their social responsibility and made achievements in business education, as well as advocates that Business Schools should educate and encourage students to create economic and social values with business knowledge and cultivate students’ awareness of sustainable development.
In 1996, DHU joined the third batch of pilot institutions for MBA programme in China, which was officially launched in 1997. Its mission is to build a diversified and innovative education platform with characteristics, to cultivate excellent enterprise management elites of great virtue and to accurately understand the educational requirements of students and then teach students in accordance of their aptitude. Relying on the characteristics of fashion textile and clothing, the MBA programme of Glorious Sun School of Business and Management not only educates management talents in the globe fashion field, but also provides fair, friendly and creative educational resources, which contributes to the inheritance, development and innovation of fashion economic management, and promotes the school to establish the social responsibility-oriented cooperative relationship with social organizations and enterprises. The MBA programme has taken a road of characteristic education focusing on multi project operation and differentiated training. As of now, there are emerging MBA program, leader MBA program, fashion MBA program, China-Canada dual-degree MBA program and EMBA program, which have trained more than 5,000 MBA students in total. The Glorious Sun School of Business and Management, DHU, acquired the AMBA certification in 2017, benchmarking against international standards and achieving a new milestone.
It is learned that, with 11 categories to choose from, the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2021 started its selection in August 2020. The Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association set up an expert group to review the application materials submitted by the business schools recognized by AMBA and BGA for more than three months and determined the shortlisted finalists.
