Recently, the result of the “2020 Teachers’ Style Short Video Competition” was announced by the Ministry of Education (MOE). The short video of DHU named “Wishes from the International Teachers of Donghua University on Fighting Against the Epidemic” was selected as one of the winners. According to information, nearly 3000 entries were submitted. After the technical screening and expert review, 40 entries were selected as the winners from the 90 finalist entries.
In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on coordinating epidemic prevention and control with poverty alleviation, according to the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Teacher Team Construction in the New Era, the MOE invited educational administrative departments in all regions, all types of schools at all levels, and all kinds of organizations to participate in the Teachers’ Style Short Video Competition in this July, arousing strong social repercussions. DHU actively responded to the call of the MOE and solicits works from all teachers and students. The work named “Wishes from the International Teachers of Donghua University on Fighting Against the Epidemic” is a creative short video based on the deeds of all foreign teachers and faculty of the International Cultural Exchange School in fighting the epidemic and caring for students, which vividly reflects the mutual efforts of teachers and students of DHU at home and abroad to fight the epidemic.
