The Nanocomposite and Energy Materials Research Team led by Prof. Liu Tianxi published a paper titled “Cryopolymerization enables anisotropic polyanilinehybrid hydrogels with superelasticity and highly deformation-tolerantelectrochemical energy storage” in Nature Communications. The paper proposes that new strategy of cryopolymerization to construct complex deformation-resistant conductive polyanilinehybrid hydrogel materials, and supercapacitors based on this conductive polyanilinehybrid hydrogels have ultra-high tensile, compressible, and bendable properties with excellent capacity retention under complex deformation conditions. The corresponding authors are Prof. Liu Tianxi and Researcher Zhang Chao, and the first author is the doctoral student, Li Le.
