Progress made in Cationic Phosphorus Dendrimers for tumor gene therapy by Prof. Shi Xiangyang’s research team

Date:2020-08-22

Prof. Shi Xiangyang’s research group from College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology collaborated with Prof. Jean-Pierre Majoral’s research group from Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in designing and building the cationic phosphorus dendrimers with different algebraic and different cyclic amine groups and exploring the potential application value in gene delivery and tumor treatment. The related result was published in Biomacromolecules and Donghua University is the first completion unit. The doctoral students Chen Liang and Li Jin from College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology are the joint first authors, Prof. Shi Xiangyang, Prof. Jean-Pierre Majoral and Prof. Serge Mignani from Universite′ Paris Descartes and joint corresponding authors
