Recently, Professor You Zhengwei's team from the State Key Laboratory for Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials (Donghua University) has proposed a computational method to simulate layer by layer photopolymerization 3D printing based on the kinetics and reaction mechanism of photopolymerization, which makes 3D printing technology similar to the preview function of OFFICE software. The related result was published in Bioactive Materials, one of the Chinese Journals of Science and Technology Excellence Action Plan - "High-Start New Journals", under the title of "3D printing preview for stereo-lithography based on photopolymerization kineticmodels". Dr. Gao Yi, a joint PhD student with Tsinghua University, is the first author of the paper, Research Associate Guan Qingbao is the corresponding author, and Prof. You Zhengwei is the co-author of the paper.
