Professor Jiang Wan and her team from the Institute of Functional Materials of Donghua University, cooperating with Tohoku University (Japan) and Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, discovered the essential role of liquid-phase sintering (LPS) to achieve effective load transfer in MWCNT reinforced ceramic matrix composites. The result is published in Advanced Science,an internationally renowned journal, with Dr. Fan Yuchi being the first author, Dr. Song Erhong the co-first author and Prof. Luo Wei the co-corresponding author.
