On April 19, the appointment ceremony of Antti Ahlava as Adjunct Professor of Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation of Donghua University (SCF) was held on the Yan’an Road campus of Donghua University (DHU). Professor Liu Chunhong, Vice President of DHU and Dean of SCF, issued the appointment letter. After that, Professor Antti delivered a lecture titled “Architecture and Fashion.”
Aalto University is credited as one of the world’s top design institutions. In the 2016-2017 QS World University Ranking, the discipline of fashion design of Aalto University ranks 3rd and its discipline of art and design ranks 13th. Antti Ahlava currently acts as the Vice President of Aalto University as well as full-time professor of its Department of Architecture.
