According to China Scholarship Council (CSC), the “Training Program for Internationalized Research andInnovative Talents in New Textile Materials” declared by Donghua University (DHU) was approved and included among the 57 winners of “International Joint Training Program for Innovative Talents,” 7 of which are Shanghai-based. This is the second time for DHU to have a program approved by CSC with the first one being “International Joint Training Program for Innovative Talents in DisciplineofTextile and Biomaterials” in 2014. It’s worth noting that the two programs are both initiated by College of Textile.
The “International Joint Training Program for Innovative Talents” is established by CSC in line with the state policy of comprehensive reform in education field, aiming to cultivate more innovative, scarce and inter-disciplinary internationalized talents.The approval of this program will further promote the cooperation between DHU and the world’s high-level universities and improve the students’ innovative practical capability and international competitiveness, thereby meeting the national requirements for training internationalizedversatile and innovative talents.
