Delegation from Stanford University visited DHU

    On September 15, Professor Ramón Saldívar and Irene Kennedy, the two Associate Vice Provosts of Stanford University, together with Judith Goldstein, the principal of Overseas Studies Program, and Dr. Shi Mingzheng thereof, visited Donghua University. Vice President Liu Chunhong, accompanied by Yao Weixin, Director of Academic Affairs Office, Zhao Mingwei, Vice Director of International Cooperation Office and Song Wei, Vice Dean of International Cultural Exchange School, received the guests and had a meeting with them.

    Liu Chunhong extended a warm welcome to the guests from Stanford University. She introduced DHU’s student exchange and cultivation of international students. Professor Ramón Saldívar said that Stanford University attaches great importance to the cultivation of students’ international horizon and over 60% of undergraduates have at least one semester of overseas learning experience. The Stanford delegation also visited DHU’s International Education Enter and the dormitory for international students, highly praising DHU’s people-oriented service and the emphasis on quality of student cultivation.

  It is learnt that Stanford University keeps ranking top 10 in the multiple university rankings and has maintained the second place in the Academic Ranking of World Universities for consecutive years.
