Liu Chunhong extended a warm welcome to Prof. Charlie Jeffery and his delegation. The two sides reviewed the development of SCF that is cooperatively run by the two universities, and discussed the cooperation in the establishment of distinctive Confucius Classroom as well as other cultural creative fields. Jeffery hopes that the two universities shall carry out in-depth cooperation in creative design and more students from the University of Edinburgh will come to Shanghai for exchange.

After the meeting, Prof. Jeffery and his company visited the International Cultural Exchange School, International Educational Center, SCF and Shanghai Museum of Textile and Costume, speaking highly of the achievements made by DHU in its people-oriented service for international students and creative design.

Founded in 1583, the University of Edinburgh is the sixth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s ancient universities. It is one of the most important partners of DHU. SCF has enrolled two sessions of students since its establishment in 2014. It is believed that the cooperation between the two sides will expand further.
