On September 17th, list of winners of 2015 IF Home Style Award were revealed. Three works designed jointly by teachers and students from College of Textiles bore the palm. They were Case-dough·Insoles, Mountains·Fruit Tray, and Mountains and Rivers·Ashtray
The team was guided by Professor Wu Xiang from Product Design Department of Fashion. Art Design Institute. They designed a series of household products according to the lifestyle of traditional Chinese people, which is quite implicit. Meanwhile, Wu Chunmao’s research paper interpreting methods of products designing will be employed by International Design Conference in South Korean in 0ctober and get published during the conference as well.
Home Style Award was set up jointly by ShanghaiCommercialInformationCenter, ShanghaiBrandPromotionCenter and Mess Frankfurt in 2008. This year it cooperated with iF International Forum Design GmbH, a world-famous design institute, for the first time and was upgraded to IF Home Style Award by IF Design Asia Ltd. Winners will get IF Home Style Award logo on their works, which will get on IF’s official website for promotion.
