Conference on Intelligent System & Big Data 2015 (ISBD2015) Held at DHU

On September 26th, the Conference on Intelligent System & Big Data 2015 (ISBD2015)” was held at Donghua University. The conferencewas hostedby DHU and co-organized by Northeastern University and University of Surrey, UK. Prof. Jiang Changjun, president of DHU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered the speech. Prof. Ding Yongsheng, dean of College of Information Science and Technology,presided over the conference.

On behalf of DHU, Prof. Jiang Changjun extended a warm welcome to all the experts and delegates and congratulated on the opening of this conference. Meanwhile, he briefed the attendees about DHU, its present situation, its history of development and its future blueprint.

Academician Chai Tianyou from Northeastern University, the keynote speaker, gave a plenary speech on Intelligent Manufacturing & Intelligent Optimization of Manufacturing. In his speech, he discussed the challenges of process industry intelligent optimization in areas of science & technology automation, computer &communication technology and data science and made a suggestion on optimizing China’s process industry intelligent manufacturing.

Prof. Qian Feng from East China University of Science & Technology, Prof. Guan Xinping, Prof. Li Shaoyuan from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Prof. Jin Yaochu from University of Surrey respectively gave a keynote speech on the conference. They mainly elaborated the topics of Intelligent Optimization in Petrochemical Industry in “Era Internet+”, Industrial Cognitive Theory of Wireless Network Design and Optimization, China’s Development of Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation Technology and Complex System Optimization of Data Drive. All these aroused heat discussions among the scholars present at the meeting.

This conference presented the latest development and application results of intelligent system & big data by means of plenary lectures, keynote speeches and oral presentations in the parallel sessions.
