Recently, China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the list of 2022 Innovative Talents International Cooperation Training Program (hereinafter referred to as "Innovation Program").
The "Control Science and Engineering Internationalization Innovation Talent Cultivation Program," along with the "Advanced Fiber and Low-dimension Materials Innovation Talent Cultivation Program" and "Textile Intelligent New Technology Research Innovation Talent Cultivation Program," which were applied for continuation, was declared by our university. The programs mentioned above were approved by CSC, which became the seventh consecutive year of our university approved for Innovation Programs. The implementation period is 3 years, and there are 9 programs in the implementation period in 2022.
The 3 approved programs are led by Prof. Shen Bo, Dean of School of Information Technology, Prof. Zhu Meifang, Director of State Key Laboratory of Fiber Material Modification, and Prof. Zhao Tao, Vice Dean of School of Chemical and Biological Engineering. By carrying out those programs, DHU can thereby sustain multi-faceted cooperation and promote its cooperative relations in international academia research with many other universities, including the University of California San Diego, Manchester University, Stony Brook University, Bar-Ilan University, Israel, Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research, Germany, University of Wollongong, Australia, University of Bristol, UK, National University of Singapore, University of Bristol, National University of Singapore, University of Twente, University of Louisville, and other universities.
As the flagship program of CSC, the Innovation Program aims to serve the construction of the "Double First-Class". It focuses on supporting "Top-University-Cooperation" and “Top-Fields-Cooperation” between Chinese and foreign universities. The program is based on the management model of "Establishing the Project First and then Selecting and Sending", which supports outstanding students to study abroad for doctoral (master) degrees, providing joint training for master's and doctoral students, as well as running exchange programs for postdoctoral and visiting scholars.
Donghua University attaches great importance to the internationalization of graduate education, implementeing the Reform and Development of Graduate Education Plan and the Global Talent Project. The new paradigm of internationalization of graduate education is formed with the participation of multiple parties and the mutual promotion of multiple forms.
