Since the "COACH Foundation - Chasing Dreams" Hope Initiative for Poverty Alleviation in 2020, it’s the second time that Donghua University and Tapestry Group have collaborated on this project. As part of an ongoing series of activities that includes lecture series in which the two parties work together to educate and inspire a new generation of fashion industry designers, the two parties are encouraging the next generation to combine elements of Chinese fashion with the power of international brands. Mentors from the Tapestry Group and Donghua University have been teaching students about branding, product and media design since April this year, with top designers from Coach's New York design team sharing their creative insights and helping students to develop their creative solutions to the integration of fashion culture. Students will have the chance to collaborate with mentors from both sides after the course to develop their innovative ideas. Mentors from both sides helped the students finish the design and defense in groups, and they competed for the chance to execute their works through a competition. Winners will work with the Coach brand team to produce and deliver the products, continue to enhance and strengthen the creative content, and promote the outcomes through corporate practices.

During the exhibition, Yann Bozec strongly praised Donghua University's international fashion creative talents training model and the novel teaching model of industry-education integration. His objective was to create an industry standard for talent training by partnering with Donghua University, to bring Coach closer to the next generation of young Chinese fashion buyers and improve the growth of Chinese fashion industry.
