It is understood that the major adjustment of our university closely meets the needs of the economic and social development of our nation and region, actively adapts to the scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform of the new round, takes the construction of new engineering majors as a forerunner, and focuses on deepening the comprehensive major reform and optimizing the major structure based on the development orientation of our university.

In the next stage, our university will further optimize the major setting, take the national standards as the bottom line requirement of major construction, develop the advantages of engineering majors, consolidate the foundation of science majors, and incubate the characteristics of liberal arts majors. We will continuously carry out major optimization, adjustment and upgrading, promote the construction of Golden Majors based on the key work of the national Double First-class Major Initiative, and improve the quality of talent training in the whole university led by the construction of undergraduate majors.
