President Yu Jianyong Meets with Philippine Cabinet Secretary

      On the morning of November 21, President Yu Jianyong met with a delegation of six people led by Philippine Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles at the Yan’an Campus, accompanied by Mrs. Qiu Aiping, wife of the Chinese Consul General in Davao, representatives of the principals' office, the International Cooperation Office, and the College of Fashion and Design.



      Yu Jianyong extended a warm welcome to Karlo Nograles and other delegates. He introduced the school's development history, current status and future plans to the guests, expressing the willingness of cooperation between the two parties in the future through student exchanges and visiting teachers. Karlo Nograles also expressed the hope of enhancing mutual understanding and achieving common development through cultural exchanges.



      After the meeting, Karlo Nograles and his team visited the College of Fashion and Design with great interest. And then he exchanged ideas with teachers and students of the intangible cultural heritage training session - master of woolen embroidery, and attended the art design exhibition, works of students from the Sino-Japanese joint class. They also visited the Art Design Training Center and Shanghai Textile and Clothing Museum. Karlo Nograles praised the students and teachers for their designs, looking forward to the relevant institutions in the Philippines would have extensive cooperation and in-depth communication with our school in the future.
