Brief Introduction

In order to better prepare students for the future academic study and life in China, Donghua University offers the 2023-2024 Pathway Program, which helps to improve your Chinese language skills, advance the learning method, and increase opportunities of winning entrance scholarships.

Eligibility

- Applicant of Chinese-taught Bachelor's or Master's program

- Chinese proficiency: HSK 3 above 180 scores, or its equivalent

Program Duration:

September 2023 - July, 2024

- Semester 1: September 2023 - January 2024

- Semester 2: March - July 2024

Application Deadline: June 30, 2023

Tuition: CNY 19,800 (2 semesters)

1. Now - June 30, 2023

Apply for Chinese-taught Bachelor's or Master's degree program (except Bachelor's Program in Chinese language) at https://admissions.dhu.edu.cn.

After applying online, keep close contact with ISO-DHU via email for a successful application before the deadline.

2. Early July 2023

Applicants check the result released by DHU via email. Reply DHU to confirm whether or not accepting the conditional admission.

Students who confirm to attend the Pathway Program will receive a conditional Admission Notice for 1-year Pathway study + Degree study (4 years for Bachelor's study, 2.5~3 years for Master's study) ,  and the visa application materials.

3. Sept. 2023 - July 2024

- Module 1: Chinese Enhancement

- Module 2: Bridging Courses

Painting (art design related programs), Mathematics (economics and management related programs), Computer Basics, HSK exam tutoring, The Road to College Success lectures, and etc.

* The Bridging courses are subject to the actual arrangement. The minimum size of each courses is 5 students.

* Excellent students will receive the recommendation for entrance scholarships application.

4. July, 2024

Pathway Program final examination

5. September, 2024

Students who pass the Pathway Program final exam will start their degree study.

* Students should submit HSK Level 5 certificate (over 180 scores) or above by September 2025.
