The sixth meeting of the second academic committee of DHU’s Key Laboratory of Science & Technology of Eco-Textile, Ministry of Education, was held on March 18 in DHU. Yu Jianyong, President of DHU and Vice Chair of the Laboratory, Li Wei, Vice President of DHU, Lin Lin, Vice President of China Dyeing and Printing Association, Peng Xinjian, Vice President of the Institute of Science and Technology, Jiangnan University attended the meeting.

Yu Jianyong noted in the meeting that the Laboratory should value the basic research of frontier application, orient towards pollution and carbon reduction, pollutant control, and industry development, and further strengthen Donghua University-Jiangnan University and academia-industry cooperation.

The meeting also discussed the Laboratory’s development in the past year, its achievements in the basic theory, key technology and application in the eco-textile field, and promotion of talent training, project breakthroughs, achievement transformation, and international exchanges.
