Recently, the results of the "2021 Short Video Competition of International Chinese Classroom Teaching” were announced. This competition was jointly held by HSK Crestar Singapore, Chinese Testing International and more than 10 Chinese universities with the support of the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education. The work "Where is the Bank of China" submitted by Wang Yin, a teacher of the International Cultural Exchange School, DHU, had been reviewed by experts anonymously in three rounds, finally made its way out of more than 300 entries and won the first prize.

Wang Yin's work adheres to the concept of student-centered, instilling pleasure into teaching and learning to meet practical needs. The learning of language points and cultural points is closely combined with the situation based on the story theme, so as to stimulate students' learning interest, strengthen their cognitive consciousness for knowledge points and improve the learning effect. In the blackboard-writing presentation, the structure and diagram are used to show the key points, highlight the levels, reflect the differences, and promote students’ attention and understanding. Through the use of multimedia assisted teaching technology, the form of group activities involving two or more people and the practice of various skills, the whole teaching process is progressive at a hectic pace, making the classroom atmosphere active and relaxed, which is deeply affected by students.

In recent years, the International Cultural Exchange School of DHU has been emphasizing the improvement of young teachers' teaching skills, and striving to create a good communication atmosphere through different forms of professional development activities, so as to promote mutual learning and common progress of all teams. Since the start of the competition, the School has provided instructors for the participating teacher, organized a team to prepare for the competition and provided course recording technical support for lecture recording, fully demonstrating the excellent basic teaching skills of young teachers in the School.
