Zhi Chen graduated from Donghua University in 2014 and then went to the London College of Fashion for further study. Her fully knitted serial works named PLAYCROUND were selected into London Graduate Show and London Fashion Week AW 2017. The works are practical but definitely not outdated by controlling knitting texture, color, thickness, texture and pattern and coordinating model and design on the basis of knitted fabric.

It is learnt that this is the second time for studentworks of DHU to be shown at the London Fashion Week. The first appearance is traced back to 2014 when the works of men’s wear designed by Tan Wen, postgraduate of Fashion • Art Design Institute, made a debut at the show while this time Zhi Chen’s works are tailored for women.
