Shanghai Healing Home is a private organization founded in 2009, which assists local Chinese children by providing pre, and post- surgical care to abandoned Chinese orphan babies born with surgically correctable deformities. They provide a home-like environment that is not only meeting the babies’ physical needs but also their emotional and developmental needs. There are about 100 babies cared for, 196 surgeries performed, 60 babies adopted and currently there are 29 babies in their home.

On Saturday 28 November 2015, six volunteers from Donghua University arrived at Shanghai Healing Home, they all started cleaning the toys and floor mats and then waited for the kids to be awoken. It was about 5 minutes waiting and the kids were at the playroom. All of our volunteers were playing with kids and giving them love as well as hugging them.
