We at Center of International Programs (CIP) always like to organize visits to Chinese and local Shanghainese industry leaders, and have our students gain first hand experience of a successful company.
This time, as a part of E-commerce course, students were taken by professor Marko Ljubicic to visit Ctrip, Chinese leader in online travel services in December. The headquarter of Ctrip is located in a super modern state-of-the-art SOHO building in Changning district, where students were greeted by Mr. You Suchuan, company’s call center director.
Mr. You told students about the company’s history, its early days and achievements, and rise to stardom, to NASDAQ listed super star that offers a wide range of travel related services, from hotel and airline ticket bookings, to customized small group adventures across China’s and international touristic landscapes.
It is a very informative and inspiring visit for our students!
