On December 18, Vice President Liu Chunhong met with Prof. Janet L. Ellzey and her delegation from University of Texas at Austin on West Yan’an Road Campus. Relevant staff also attended the meeting from College of Textile Science, College of Business and Management and College of Science as well as International Cooperation Office.
Vice President Liu extended a warm welcome to the delegation and made an introduction to the history and recent development of Donghua University. Prof. Ellzey then introduced work on the specialty and international cooperation of University of Texas at Austin.They both hoped that further cooperation would be strengthened on faculty training, academic exchange and scientific research in the fields of superiority disciplines.
After the meeting, Prof. Ellzey and her delegation visited Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation, College of International Cultural Exchange and Shanghai Museum of Textile and Costume in Donghua University. She spoke highly of DHU’s open, active and international teaching atmosphere.
