What is A Pre-admission Letter?
A Pre-admission Letter is a supporting document issued by an applicant's target university when he/she applies for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) through the designated dispatching authorities in his/her home country, either for future undergraduate or postgraduate study in this target university.
Please note that if you apply through Donghua University for CGS-Chinese University Program, you DO NOT need a Pre-admission Letter.

When should I ask for a Pre-admission Letter from my target university?
After having applied to and been recommended as an eligible candidate (you will receive an Award Letter for CGS Candidate) by the designated dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country for CGS opportunity, you can contact your target university for the Pre-admission Letter.
If DONGHUA is Your Target University
Follow the guide below for your Pre-admission Letter
Step 1: Check if Donghua university offers the program you plan to learn.

Step 2: Download the 2021 Application Form of Pre-admission Letter.docx and prepare the documents listed in it.
Step 3: Send the application form and the electronic version of required documents to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 4: Wait for around two weeks for the university's review (may suspend during the university's winter holiday). If the university agrees to accept you, the Pre-admission Letter will be issued and sent to you via email.

If you are not granted with the scholarships, this Pre-admission Letter enables you the chance to study as a self-funded student (contact DHU before June 15).
