ZHAO Zhen
Prof. ZHAO Zhen, born in June 1972, is the Vice President of Donghua University (DHU).
Prof. Zhao received his Bachelor's degree, Master's degree and PhD in Materials Processing Engineering in July 1994, March 1999 and May 2002 respectively from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).
He has served in several positions of SJTU in previous years, such as the Deputy Secretary, Secretary of CPC committee of the Department of Plasticity Technology, SJTU as well as the Deputy Director of the Department, the Vice Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering, Deputy Director of the Office of Human Resources, Director of the Office of Asset Management and Laboratory, Secretary of CPC committee of School of Mathematical Sciences, Director of the Office of Human Resources, Director of the Office of Faculty Affairs, Director of the Talent Recruitment and Service Center. He is currently serving as the Vice President of DHU.
Prof. Zhao mainly engages in the research of metal materials forming and die/mold technology. He has been in charge of research projects from NSFC, National key R&D Programs, and National S&T Major projects, etc. He is also the Director of National Engineering Research Center of Die & Mold CAD, Executive Director of China Society for Technology of Plasticity (CSTP), China Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), Vice President of China Die & Mould Industry Association (CDMIA), Director of China Association of Higher Education.
