Business Administration

1. Program Goals
This program helps students have strategic visions, innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirits as well as the proficiency in a foreign language. They will be capable of research and management skills in industrial and commercial enterprises, economic management departments, teaching or research departments. This subject covers the following master programs: Enterprise Management, Accounting, Technical Economics and Management, and Exhibition and Tourism Management.

2. Areas of Study
(1)Marketing
This area focuses on researches of consumer behavior, customer management, retail management, brand management, apparel marketing, and market research methods.

(2)Human Resource Management
This area focuses on researches of staff management; performance evaluation, salary and incentive design, teams and communication, and human capital investment.

(3)Corporate Finance
This area focuses on researches of enterprise financial management under uncertainty; enterprise asset management, investment decisions and management, and financial statements analysis.

(4)Accounting
This area focuses on researches of accounting system, international financial reporting standards, human resource accounting, behavioral accounting, property and financial accounting.

(5)Technical Economics and Business Strategy
This area focuses on researches of technical and economic evaluation, technological innovation and management, strategic management theory, strategic positioning and planning, and textile enterprise development strategies.

(6)Exhibition and Tourism Management
This area focuses on researches of tourism resources development and planning, hotel management, tourism e-commerce, exhibition planning and organization, and exhibition marketing.

 

Management Science and Engineering

1.Aims and Objectives

2.Areas of Study
(1)Information Management and Information System
 This area focuses on researches of enterprise resource planning (ERP); decision support system (DSS); business process innovation (BPR / BPI); systems analysis, design and implementation.

(2)E-commerce and Logistics
This area focuses on researches of e-commerce and technology; online marketing; customer relationship management; logistics and supply chain coordination and management; logistics management and other e-commerce environment.

(3)Modeling Analysis and Optimization
This area focuses on researches of mathematical modeling and quantitative analysis; optimization decision analysis; statistical analysis and data mining.

(4)Knowledge Engineering and Intelligent Decision
This area focuses on researches of intelligence methods and techniques; expert system (ES); artificial neural network (ANN); intelligent decision analysis; intelligent decision and its application.

(5)Service Science and Operations Management
This area focuses on researches of modern service operations management; scientific decision-support services; modern service design; QOS management; service-oriented architecture (SOA); process design and process reengineering; capacity planning and constraint management; enterprise resource planning; mass customization Theory and Application; fine time production and operation; operational efficiency assessment; IT project management; enterprise application integration.

 

Applied Economics

1.Program Goals
This program helps students to have solid foundation of economic theories, innovative thinking and pioneering spirit, with decision-making, coordination and organizational adaptability. Students will be able to adapt to the needs of the market, particularly in the financial sector, international trade, fashion and creative industries, as well as strategic industries. They will be familiar with the country's economic policies and regulations, and be able to work in corporations, government departments or research institutions. This subject covers the following master programs:  Finance, Industrial Economics, and International Trade.

2.Areas of Study
(1) Finance
This area includes the research of commercial bank management and innovation, investment banking and capital market, and financial risk management.
Students are mainly engaged in the researches of commercial bank credit decision management system, risk investment, commercial banks pricing of new products, financial instruments and capital market, M&A, financial innovation and financial risk, risk measurement and control, exchange rate risk prediction, etc.

(2) Industrial Economics and Policy
This area includes the researches of industrial strategy, industrial organization theory and policy, economics in textile industry, international competitiveness if industries.
This area focuses on decision-making basis for the formulation of industrial policy, theories of economies of scale, economies of scope, entry and exit barriers, and modern industrial organization. Especially in the field of textile and apparel industry,in the background of economic globalization, the gap of the international competitiveness of various industries, the main constraints and proposed countermeasures. Students will be aware of the changes in market supply and demand in the leading industries, pillar industries and emerging industries by applying the theories and analyzing opportunities and challenges of the industries.

(3) Fashion and Creative Industries
This area includes the researches of fashion industry competitiveness, creative industry theory and Policy, creative industry cluster value network, creative industry park competitiveness and strategic planning of cultural and creative industries.
These researches focus on the transformation, development strategy and upgrading of traditional industries, including the law of development and the supporting policies of animation, video, games, industrial design, MICE tourism, luxury goods and other emerging industries.

(4) International Trade Theory and Practice
This area includes the research of international trade theory and policy, regional economic cooperation, and international trade in textile.
Students are mainly engaged in the researches of trade in goods, trade in services, trade in intellectual property rights, theories and policies of economic and technical cooperation, China's trade relations with its major trading partners, WTO law, ICC trade rules, trade in textile and apparel, regional trading arrangements, import and export practices.

(5) Regional Economics
The area includes the researches of the evolution of spatial pattern of regional economy, regional economic connection, regional policy, and regional effects of macro-economic policies from the macroeconomic perspective; regional development model, conversion and optimization of regional industrial structure, urban economy, urban-rural integration, regional markets, urban and regional sustainable development from economic perspective; and  (foreign)direct investment location choices, business organizations, corporate mergers and the formation of conglomerates, regional economic activities such as industrial restructuring and the transformation of across-region sectors from micro-economic perspective .

 

World Economy

1.Program Goals
This program aims to teach students to master the basic theories of world economy, to understand the dynamics of academic frontier, particularly the hot issues and development trends in the globalization of the world economy, and to master at least one foreign language with proficient reading skills to work in institutions of higher education or with practical working ability to work in related corporations.

2.Areas of Study
(1)Comparative Economic System 
This area includes the researches of economic systems and economic performance, transitional economics, developing economics and developed economics, etc.

(2)Global and Regional Economic Cooperation
This area focuses on the researches of regional economic integration, major countries or economic cooperation groups and multilateral trading system, etc.

(3)International Finance and Investment
This area includes the researches of multinational, international financial and international investment, etc.

Logistics Engineering

1. Program Goals
This program helps students to have solid foundation of logistics engineering theories and have the ability to independently undertake technical and operational logistic management. Students will be able to adapt to the rapid development of domestic and international logistics engineering, have independent analysis and problem-solving abilities as well as proficiency in a foreign language.

2. Areas of Study
(1)Logistics System Planning and Design

This area focuses on researches of modern logistics management theory and technology, logistics system planning and design, logistics system design and consulting, third-party logistics system.

(2)Supply Chain Management

This area focuses on researches of supply chain management theory and technology, planning and design of supply chain system, logistics-based supply chain management.

(3)E-commerce Logistics

This area focuses on researches of e-commerce, logistics management theory and technology, e-commerce logistics system design and development, operation and management of e-commerce logistics system.

 

International Business

1. Program Goals
This program combines a variety of resources and methods to help students adapt to work in foreign enterprises, government departments or social organizations and have good political and ideological quality and professional ethics, well-knowledged of the basic theories of modern business and with a sound knowledge of international business, international business analysis and decision-making skills. Students should also have a high level of foreign language and cross-cultural capabilities.

2. Areas of Study
(1)International Investment Theory and Practice

This area enables students have certain knowledge of the features and development status of international investment activities and be aware of new trends in international investment theory and its impact on the economic development of countries. It also enables students to carry out the use of international investment theory into practice.

(2)International Business Operations and Management

This area enables students to have a better understanding of frontier business theories of International Business Operations and Management, as well as the basic theories of organizational issues, cultural ethics issues, human resources issues, financial risk management, etc. Students should be able to use relevant theories and practical skills into the process of international business activities.
