Bachelor Degree Majors:

1.Electrical Engineering & Automatization

Education Targets:Based on the technologies of electrical engineering, electronics, information, computer and control, this major focuses on the research of the theory, methods and engineering application and other issues concerning the design, manufacture, operation, measurement, control, communications and management of the electrical equipments and systems and the collection, transmission and processing of information during the whole process of the production, transfer and utilization of electric energy.
It aims at cultivating versatile senior technical and managerial talents who can achieve all-round development of moral, intellectual and physical education, obtain solid theoretical foundation and broad special knowledge, having the capability of independent analysis and problem solving, and boasting prominent ability of innovation which can meet the requirements of working in the field of electrical and information engineering. 
Primary Subject:This major has the right to present doctor’s degree as well as four master’s degrees of science: Control Theory and Control Engineering, Mode Identification and Intelligence System, Electric Electronics and Electric Drive, Testing Technology and Automatic Device, and a master of engineering in the field of control engineering.
 
Main Courses:The major courses include: circuit, signal and system, electronic technology, computer structure and logical design, electric machinery, electric and electronic technology, electric drag and control, principle of communications, computer composition and network, microcomputer system and interface technology, software and hardware analysis of one-chip computer, advanced language and programming, introduction to software, computer control technology, theory of automatic control, electrical drive control system, analysis and design of power supply and distribution system, principle and application of field bus etc.

 


2.Automation

Education Targets:Automation refers to the research on utilizing machines to wholly or partially replace human work. It includes various automatic control systems and robots, all sorts of automatic mechanisms, and all kinds of devices and systems for information collection, processing of information, processing and control, management and decision-making. The research of automation focuses on the laws of interaction of information in systems and on how to utilize these laws for design, control, decision-making and management of systems. The modernization of industry, agriculture, commerce, military affairs and daily life cannot be realized without the science and technology of automation. The development of some newly burgeoning disciplines and high technologies such as sciences of biology, information and materials also cannot be without automation. It is not boasting to say that there will be no new technological revolution without automation.

Specialized Knowledge And Ability:This major enjoys strong adaptability and broad application area. It takes the theory of automatic control as its base and the technologies of electronics, electric electronics, sensor, computer control and simulation, network and communications as its major tools. Facing the  rapid development in control and management of all kinds of modernized production and various modern information processing technology, we aim to cultivate high-quality senior engineering and technical talents who can achieve all-round development of moral, intellectual and physical education and who can be engaged in analysis, design, simulation, optimization and decision-making research of the system of motion control and industrial process control, in research on automatic testing technology and new automatic instrument, as well as in research on mode identification and intelligence system.

3.Communications Engineering

Education Targets:This major aims at cultivating the senior technical talents of communications engineering who can achieve all-round development of moral, intellectual and physical education, and who are armed with the knowledge of communication technology, communication system and communication network and of other fields concerned and can conduct research, design, manufacture and operation in the field of communications and can undertaken development and application of the communication technologies and equipments in the various sections of national economy.
Specialized Knowledge And Ability:The students mainly study the basic theory, composition principle and methods of design of communication system and communication network, receive various trainings in the relevant fields of teaching practice. The students shall be equipped with the knowledge and abilities in the following aspects after graduation:
1. Mastery of the basic theory and knowledge in the field of communications
2. Mastery of the technology of wire, wireless, multi-media and light-wave communications etc
3. Mastery of the composition, operating principle and design methods of typical communication system and equipments
4. Possession of the abilities of research, design and development of new communication equipments and the preliminary ability of design of communication network
5. Possession of the relatively wide basic knowledge of computer and skill of operation and the ability of development of microcomputer system
6. Acquaintance of the updated headway and developments of communication technology
7. Mastery of the basic approaches for document retrieval and search of information and possession of certain abilities of scientific research and practical operation

Education Targets:This major aims at cultivating the senior technical talents of engineering who can achieve all-round development of moral, intellectual and physical education, and who are armed with the basic knowledge of electronic technology and information system and can be engaged in the research, design, manufacture, development and application of various electronic equipments and information systems.

Specialized Knowledge And Ability:This major has a relatively broad range of knowledge and application in the aspect of electronics and information engineering. The students mainly study the acquisition and processing of signal, as well as electronic equipment and information system, receive all kinds of training in the relevant fields of teaching practice. The students shall be provided with the knowledge and abilities in the following aspects:
1. Relatively systematic mastery of the broad basic theoretical knowledge of technology of this field
2. Theoretical knowledge and experimental skills of circuit, electronics and signal and system etc
3. Mastery of the general theory and testing method of transform and processing of information and signal
4. Mastery of the composition, operating principle and design method of the typical electronic system
5. Preliminary ability of research, development and application of the new systems and technologies of electronic information system
6. Possession of relatively wide basic knowledge of computer and skill of operation and the ability of development of microcomputer system
7. Mastery of the basic approaches for document retrieval and search of information and possession of certain abilities of scientific research and practical operation
